Our class project this month will be learning how to make a toggle with Peyote Stitch, taught by Aleta Grimball.
This class is for beginners that are not familiar with the Peyote Stitch.
Cost for the class will be $10.00
Kit cost $5.00
Kits will be available for purchase at the meeting.

Our class project this month will be a brick stitch motif bracelet taught by Beverly Herman. We will explore the brick stitch technique with a demonstration in increasing and decreasing. We learn how to use the brick stitch to make motiffs to create this bracelet.
Cost for the class will be $10.00
Kit cost $15.00
Kits will be available for purchase at the meeting.

Our project after the discussion will a peyote band heart ring.

Size D nymo thread
Instructions and pattern cost $5.00

Our project for December will be beaded snowflakes taught by Beverly Herman. The cost of the class is $10.00.
These snowflakes measure 1-1/4 inches. They are perfect for earrings. They can also be used as ornaments.
Supplies need for the class are:
Size 11 seed beads G/L Opal or white seed beads.
12 size 4mm swarvarski bicone crystals

Due to circumstances beyond our control our meeting for Saturday March 17th has been cancelled. I received a call from the new owners of the coffee house this morning. They are renovating and will not be done by Saturday.

Instructions will include how to do twisted ndebele to create a bracelet with a Fleu De Lis Charm.

Christmas Party December 2006
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.
A special thanks to Jean for hosting our Christmas party this year.
We shared a wonderful meal. Wade made a roast and everyone brought a dish to pass. The bead exchange was a sucess and everyone won a gift with the games we played.
A good time was had by all.
We hope to see you at our next meeting January 19th 2007.

Pattern by Sharon Bateman.
Cost of the class is $10.00. kit fee $5.00.
The kit will consist of a prepared 20mm wooden bead with warp threads added, accent crystals and head pin.
Supplies you will need to bring.
Size 11 seed beads in orange, black and assorted greens.
Needle, thread.
Seed beads can purchased locally at Michaels, Gary's Crafts or Turquoise Coyote.
