December Bead Society Meeting

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
Please bring a dish to pass. This meeting will also be our Christmas party.

Our project for December will be beaded snowflakes taught by Beverly Herman. The cost of the class is $10.00.


These snowflakes measure 1-1/4 inches. They are perfect for earrings. They can also be used as ornaments.


Supplies need for the class are:
Size 11 seed beads G/L Opal or white seed beads.
12 size 4mm swarvarski bicone crystals
Earring wires or gold ribbon (for ornament)
Kits will be available to purchase for $5.00

Please contact Beverly if you plan to attend and or need a kit. This will ensure we have enough supplies and instructions for the class.

November 11th Bead Meeting

Supplies need for the class are:
3 colors of Delicas size 11 beads
Nymo or Fireline thread
Size 10 or 12 beading needle.
Clasp of your choice.

Limited kits in various colors will be available for purchase.
Prices will vary from $15.00 to $18.00.

Please contact Aleta if you plan to attend and or need a kit. This will ensure we have enough supplies and instructions for the class.

If you so desire bring a snack to share.

Our project for this month will be a Dutch Spiral bracelet taught by Beverly Herman.
The cost of the class is $10.00.

Learn how to created a Dutch Spiral and the secert to making the spiral pop.

Supply List:
2 colors size 11 seed beads (one main color and one accent color)
1 color of size 8 seed beads
100 size 3mm Fire Polish Crystals
1 clasp of your choice
Fireline or Nymo thread
Size 10 or 12 beading needle.
Limited kits in various colors will be available for purchase.

April Meeting

We are no longer able to use the coffee shop for our Bead Society meetings.
I stopped by to talk to the new owners on Monday. (Grand Opening day) They are unwilling to commit the 3rd Saturday of the month. I am looking for help with finding a new place to have our meetings. If you have any suggestions or know of place we gather together for an afternoon or evening please call Beverly or or send a to email and let me know.

March Meeting Cancelled

Due to circumstances beyond our control our meeting for Saturday March 17th has been cancelled. I received a call from the new owners of the coffee house this morning. They are renovating and will not be done by Saturday.

The third Saturday of April falls on the weekend of the Intergalctic Bead Show at the VFW. See the link on the sidebar for more information about the show.

Our class for this month will be "Twisted Ndebele" (herringbone)
Instructions will include how to do twisted ndebele to create a bracelet with a Fleu De Lis Charm.

7 grams of metallic color Delicas
7 grams of matte size 11 seed beads
Memorie wire
Clasp
Jump ring
2 trumpet flower beads
Fleu De Lis charm
Size 12 beading needle
Nymo or Fireline.
1 headpin and 1 4mm pearl
Round nose pliers and wire cutters
