May Bead Society Meeting

Location: (located between W. Metairie and Airline Hwy)
Our class project this month will be a woven bracelet taught by Aleta Grimball.
Cost for the class will be $10.00
Kit cost $12.00
Kits will be available for purchase at the meeting.
Please contact Aleta at aletawsc@hotmail.com if you plan to attend and let her know if you will need a kit. This will ensure we have supplies and instructions available for everyone.
Supplies Needed:
3 different colors of Size 11 seed beads
Size 6 seed beads
4 mm crystal bicones
Toggle Clasp
Size 10 or 12 beading needle
Nymo or fireline thread
Bring a snack to share if you so desire.

April 19th Meeting

Our class project this month will be a brick stitch motif bracelet taught by Beverly Herman. We will explore the brick stitch technique with a demonstration in increasing and decreasing. We learn how to use the brick stitch to make motiffs to create this bracelet.
Cost for the class will be $10.00
Kit cost $15.00
Kits will be available for purchase at the meeting.
Please contact Beverly if you plan to attend and let her know if you will need a kit.

6 size 8mm pearls
10 size 6mm fire polish crystals
2 constrasting colors of size 11 seed beads. (100 beads)
Size 8 Hex seed beads. (100 beads)
Size 8 seed beads to match one of the size 11 seed bead colors. (100 beads)
Toggle Clasp.
Size 10 or 12 beading needle
Nymo or fireline thread
Bring a snack to share if you so desire.
I hope to see you at the next meeting for an afternoon of sharing and beading together. After the meeting there will still be time to run over to the show and buy more beads that we all so need for our addiction!!!
